This series deals with national icons of eastern-European countries. These identities are based on separation although they have many common features. One of this is the character of the romantic poet – worked in the mid 19th century, toke part in revolution, dealt with folk poetry (and some died young). I made low-res 3D shape portraits, and meshed them together while on the video one of a iconic Hungarian poem is spelled by google translate’s voice on the language of the actual poet. The image is created automatically by meshing up the faces, to create the super-version of this iconic identity characters.
